Lawn Doctor is looking for a Lawn Care Technician dedicated to providing high-quality, customer-focused lawn care services. As a Lawn Care Technician at Lawn Doctor, you will be our customer-facing brand ambassador. Treat lawns with top quality, environmentally sensitive products, aerate and seed lawns, perform shop work, and offer appropriate new services to customers and prospects while in the field.

The ideal Lawn Care Technician candidate will have a strong work ethic, a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, reliable transportation to work, and a good attendance record.

Actual work experience in the lawn care industry is highly desirable, but must-haves are:

Good written and verbal communication skills
Enthusiasm for working outdoors and in various weather conditions
Ability to prioritize, multi-task, work independently and as part of a crew
Be professional and representative
Ability to operate machinery
Ability to meet production goals
Possess a valid drivers license with clean MVR record
Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening and drug test (THC excluded)
Be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds

Responsibilities:

Apply various products to control weeds, insects, and disease on turf and other plant life.
Use equipment to amend and improve soil conditions.
Assist and Educate homeowners on proper lawn maintenance and problem solve to find solutions.
Unload, Clean, and Load the service vehicles
Sell/Upsell additional services to existing and new customer

Lawn Doctor offers a variety of treatments to help lawns look their best, from power seeding to pH balance to a variety of additional services designed to keep lawns green, healthy, and beautiful. We also offer tick and mosquito control services that protect our clients' entire yards, allowing them to safely enjoy time outside with friends, family, and pets.

Compensation: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
